From Sheffield Beach in the north to Westbrook in the south: Sheffield Beach, Salt Rock, Umhlali, Shakas Rock, Ballito, Simbithi, Zimbali, Tongaat Beach and Westbrook. Tinley Manor, Shakaskraal, Umdloti and Umhlanga will come later.

Twelve: plumbing, electrical, handyman, IT/Wi-Fi, mobile mechanics (at your home), gardening, painting, carpentry, tiling, home security (alarms, CCTV, electric fencing, gate motors), roofing & waterproofing, and pool maintenance. We're not covering cleaning, building or gas at launch.

Each fundi sets their own prices. You'll see their callout first and an itemised labour + materials quote before any work starts. If you accept the quote, the callout is waived.

Only if you decline the repair quote, or cancel after the fundi has set off. Accept the quote and the callout is waived.

For scheduled, non-urgent jobs, yes. You'll be able to compare quotes in the app.

No. Fundis pay a 10% platform fee out of their price on completed jobs.

Fundis are independent contractors, and each one is responsible for their own work. We verify them, set the rules they agree to, and help sort out disputes. See our Terms.

Nothing. There's no monthly fee and no lead fees.

10% of your charged callout or labour, only on completed jobs. 0% on materials.

You do: your callout, your after-hours rate, your labour and your materials.

Apply. Then we check your ID, a selfie, your certificates and two references, and you do one supervised trial job.

For electrical work, yes: you must be a registered electrician, or work under one. For plumbing, PIRB registration is a big plus and is needed for some work, like geyser installations. Handymen don't need a registration, but they must stick to jobs that don't legally need one. IT/Wi-Fi technicians don't need a registration either; certificates like CompTIA, Ubiquiti or MikroTik are a plus and are shown on your profile.

With your cell number and a one-time code, as a customer or a fundi. Accounts open when the app launches. Until then you can join the waitlist or apply as a fundi.

Yes. After every completed job, you rate the fundi and the fundi rates you. Fundis rate four things: a clear brief, easy access, payment on time and respect.

No. Ratings are blind. You both have 7 days to rate, and neither of you sees the other's rating until both are in or the 7 days are up. Then both are shown at the same time.

Our team looks at the account. Usually that means a conversation and a warning first. Repeated low ratings, or a serious complaint, can lead to removal. Ratings from a job under dispute are held until the dispute is settled.
